Mim’s House

Mim’s House was our first apartment building. Located in the downtown plat, this space was named after the late Marilyn Simms (Mim), a woman with a tremendous love of the community, of compassion for others and just generally a great soul. The house needed a little TLC, which we happily provided. It is now a lovely space that has two one-bedroom apartments. These fully furnished, all-inclusive apartments are transitional spaces for the Shelters and for our community allies. This housing space is a fully supported transitional space and is located in a wonderful neighborhood that enables people to move forward in their journey out of homelessness.
